Susanne B. Cohen is an attorney in private practice in San Francisco and Berkeley. Her practice is focused on special needs planning, conservatorships and trust administration, and elder financial abuse litigation. Susanne’s interest, since starting out as a legal aid lawyer, is in helping people who are aging and people with disabilities maintain optimum independence and in assisting their families and friends who provide them with support. She is an author for CEB and Matthew Bender. She received her B.A. degree from Vassar College in 1984 and her J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1989. She serves on the non-profit boards of Legal Assistance for Seniors (LAS) and Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services (NCPHS).
