Carolina M. Fierro is a Vice President & Special Needs Trust Advisory
Specialist with Wells Fargo Special Needs Trust Services. She began her
career with Wells Fargo in retail banking in 2003, and, in 2006, joined
Special Needs Trust Services.
Ms. Fierro works directly with individuals with diverse abilities along with
their family, support system, and other advisors. Ms. Fierro is part of the
relationship team for clients who are the beneficiaries of first party SNTs,
third party SNTs, and settlement protection trusts. Ms. Fierro assists her
clients in coordinating services and resources that can improve their quality of
life and facilitates conversations with investment strategists to align
investment objectives with the client’s short and long-term needs. Using a
holistic approach, Ms. Fierro also participates in planning conversations with
individuals and families who are concerned about how the needs of their loved
ones will be met in the future. In addition, Ms. Fierro engages in
conversations around pre-settlement planning and the options available to an
individual receiving a personal injury award. In order to provide advice and
guidance to his/her clients, Ms. Fierro routinely participates in educational
seminars which focus on rules, regulations, changes, and best practices in
regard to the administration of trusts for individuals with diverse abilities.
Ms. Fierro is a California native and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political
Science with an emphasis in International Relations from the University of
California, Santa Barbara. She is also a graduate of Pepperdine University,
Malibu – Cannon Financial Institute, a member of the Los Angeles Estate
Planning Council, Orange County Bar Association, the San Gabriel Estate
Planning Council and the San Bernardino Bar Association. Ms. Fierro is
fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Fierro and her husband live in Southern California and are the proud
parents of two energetic young boys.
